Sensor Status Display
A wall-mounted status panel that pulls local environmental data and presents it on a low-power e-paper screen.
This build combines a microcontroller, a small enclosure, and a simple polling service to display room conditions without another glowing dashboard. The e-paper panel updates just often enough to stay useful while still feeling calm in the space.
Current state
The prototype works, but the next iteration needs a cleaner battery strategy and a sturdier backplate. Even so, it has already proven the core idea: local sensors become much more actionable when the display is always visible and nearly maintenance-free.
