Parametric Desk Organizer
A modular 3D-printed desk organizer with swappable trays sized from a small set of parameters.
This project started because every small thing on my desk needed a different-sized container. I wanted a single OpenSCAD model that could generate trays, cable combs, and bit holders from a few dimensions instead of maintaining separate files for each variant.
What I built
The final system uses a shared grid and magnet spacing so modules can snap together without committing to one layout. The print files are generated from parameter presets, which made it easy to iterate on drawer depth, wall thickness, and tolerances after real-world testing.
